7:00 PM - 9:00 PM – WHY YOU ARE LUCKY TO BE A CATHOLIC

Tuesday, March 4, 2008
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM – CATHOLICS ARE NEVER ALONE
The theme of this night is to focus on the obstacles, the idols that can keep us
from truly accepting the life giving gift of God. Attendees will be reminded that they
are never alone—that when we gather at Mass there is a great army of believers—
the Saints and those who have gone before us who are there to help us. A new
way to look at the parts of the Mass that deal with “calling to mind our sins,” and
how we can come to a deeper relationship with Christ. The healing power of the
Mass is emphasized.

7:00 PM - 9:00 PM – CATHOLICS KNOW THE BIBLE
The theme for this night is listening to the Word of God in a new way. I’ll prove to
the attendees that they know the Bible pretty well and that’s because they’ve been
listening to it and speaking it all of their lives. God speaks to us in the Readings at
Mass. What does God have to say to you? A way to hear a great homily every time
we attend Mass will also be presented. A special part of this talk will be to point out
the great knowledge of Scriptures that Catholics already possess.

Thursday, March 6, 2008
7:00 PM - 9:00 PM – CATHOLICS KNOW JESUS
The theme this night is the Eucharist, and there will be exposition and adoration of
Blessed Sacrament concluding with Benediction at the end of the evening. The
Liturgy of the Eucharist is explained in this talk.

NOTE:
All other Parish activities are cancelled during the four days  of the Mission.
