Parish Council Corner
Parish Bulletin May 9, 2010
The Pastoral Council Assembly a year ago generated more than 250 comments.
The Councilors have spent some time becoming acquainted with the breadth and
depth of parish operations and have begun addressing some of the comments.
They have also begun preparing some short videos which help to introduce
parishioners to the multiple aspects of parish life and worship. In the coming weeks
the Council will begin to address the comments in a Parish Council corner in the
parish bulletin.
14 Christian movie night once a month.
15 Added to above comment by someone else "this is a great idea".
Fr. Keyes has been organizing a Catholic Movie night on occasion. The next one is
May 13th on the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima. We will show the new movie "The 13th
Day", the newest movie on the Miracle at Fatima. Admission is free. A Free-will
offering will be accepted and related items from Ignatius press will be available for
purchase. Fr. Keyes is looking for assistance in organizing future screenings.
20 Need a soft cushion for kneeling.
21 Need cushions for kneelers.
At this time, the kneelers are in good repair and at this time budget constraints
prevent us from upgrading our pews and kneelers.
